Safety tips
Most buyers and sellers are honest. These steps protect you from the few who are not.

When you buy
- Meet in a busy public place during the day, and bring a friend.
- Check the registration book and file, and make sure the seller’s name matches.
- Match the chassis and engine numbers on the bike with the papers.
- Verify the registration with your province’s Excise and Taxation office online service.
- Take a test ride before you agree on a price.
- Never pay an advance or “token money” before seeing the bike.
- Be careful with prices that are far below the market.
When you sell
- Meet buyers in a public place, not at your home.
- Hand over the bike only after the full payment is in your account. Check your banking app, not a screenshot.
- Write a simple sale agreement with both CNIC numbers, and keep a copy.
- Complete the ownership transfer at the Excise office together with the buyer.
Never share these
- One-time codes (OTP) sent to your phone or email.
- Your bank PIN or card details.
- Copies of your CNIC with strangers, unless you are completing a transfer.
